Roboshark

Roboshark is a robotic shark that is programmed to eat robotic tuna (Tintuna) which school together when they sense Roboshark headed their way. Roboshark also shares tank space with "gliders", which I assume to be like stingrays.

Roboshark could previously be seen swimming with real sharks at the National Marine Aquarium when it was on loan during 2003. Its new home, is apparently still in the works and is known as "Hydrodome." It was expected to open in 2006, but the website seems to indicate it's not quite ready yet.

Roboshark was designed by Andrew Sneath for BBC in order to make a more realistic marine documentary. Roboshark aided in the program by swimming with and recording film of real sharks for the BBC.

Four Legged Military Hero

Stubby was originally a stray pit bull dog that became the mascot of the 102^nd Infantry during WWI. He was smuggled overseas and aided the soldiers by detecting gas attacks, lifting troop morale and even finding and holding onto a German spy until the troops could capture him.

He was eventually smuggled back to the United States where he became a lifetime member of the American Legion, Red Cross and YMCA and was highly decorated. He met three American Presidents: Wilson, Harding and Coolidge. He died in 1926 and today, his body can be seen on display at the Smithsonian Museum.
